Hygienic water level control system
The automatic backwashing sand filter device "PRT Series" supports pressure sensor-based water level control for all models! It is very hygienic as there is no stagnant water like in conventional electrode-type water level gauge piping. Water level settings can be configured via touch panel operation. There is no need to cut electrode rods like in electrode-type systems. If you want to change the water level settings after starting operation, it can be easily modified.

Automatic water supply control is a very convenient feature that fills the water to the set level during hot water filling or when the water level drops (due to evaporation, bathers, or backwashing operation). Conventional electrode-type water level control has a concern about bacterial growth because the piping up to the water level electrode becomes stagnant water. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (Notification dated September 19, 2019) specifies the following items regarding water level gauges in the revised guidelines for hygiene management in public baths. In particular, the item requiring the removal of biofilm at least once a week using appropriate disinfection methods is very challenging, so pressure sensor-type water level control is recommended! Excerpt: 2 Facility Equipment: General Public Bath 4 Bathing Rooms (18) The installation of water level gauges must be of a structure that allows for cleaning and disinfection of the piping, or a sensor type that does not require piping. 3 Hygiene Management: General Public Bath 1 Overall Facility Management (1) Facility maintenance must be cleaned and disinfected according to the table below, keeping it clean and hygienic. Appropriate disinfectants should be used according to the material, and when discharging into rivers and lakes, necessary treatments for environmental conservation must be carried out.
