Without heating equipment, it was difficult to maintain the bathing temperature, leading to significant complaints from customers. ■ Solution: Introduction of the water-source heat pump "WSR" We adopted the "WSR-B (10 horsepower)" to effectively utilize unused source heat below 40°C. Instead of burning fossil fuels, this system efficiently raises the source heat to 43°C, balancing the brand's commitment to "free-flowing" and "cost savings."

At that time, there was no heating equipment, leading to customer complaints due to the inability to maintain an appropriate temperature. It was urgent to find a low-cost heating solution while maintaining the brand's "free-flowing" reputation. 【Implementation Effects】 The water-source heat pump "WSR-B" was introduced to efficiently recover unused geothermal heat below 40°C. The annual cost of heating with an oil boiler was approximately 7.18 million yen, while after the introduction of the WSR, it is expected to be around 3.04 million yen, resulting in an estimated annual reduction of about 4.13 million yen in running costs. CO2 emissions were also reduced by 84 tons per year (about 60%), achieving an environmentally friendly "sustainable free-flowing hot spring operation." Since it is a water-source type, no exhaust space is required, and the neat installation in the limited machinery room has been well received.
