This device uses the magnetic force generated by energizing a coil as power and functions as an actuator. It features a solenoid (linear or rotary) designed to eliminate noise generated during operation. The rotary solenoid is based on an advanced structure of the reluctance-type pulse motor principle, designed to be silent due to having no contact points other than the bearings.
