The "spring-loaded seal" is a high-performance seal that combines a PTFE-based jacket with a corrosion-resistant metal spring. The PTFE jacket has excellent chemical resistance and a wide temperature range, and the metal spring accommodates deformation due to wear and shrinkage or expansion of the seal. It can replace O-rings and oil seals, contributing to the high performance of gas and liquid handling equipment. There is a rich lineup, including options like the "scraper lip," which emphasizes scraping ability.
