The SPEX company's ambient temperature large-scale grinder (shutter box) is a soundproof swing mill with a 10-minute timer system. Samples and disc-shaped grinding materials are placed inside a ring-shaped container, and by swinging tightly, the samples are crushed. It is capable of grinding 2-150g of cement, soil, ceramics, slag, rocks, and more. There are grinding containers made of hardened steel, tungsten carbide, alumina, zirconia, etc.
