Bourns has released the chip LAN transformer module SM41126EL for 10/100 Base-T. It packages two chip LAN transformers and two common mode chip inductors in one unit. It is pin-compatible with traditional potted LAN transformers, featuring a low profile and excellent coplanarity (flatness). Compliant with IEEE 802.3, it is ideal for LAN interfaces in various communication and networking equipment. **Features** • IEEE 802.3 Ethernet compatible • 10/100Mbps • Extended temperature range: -40 to +85 °C • RoHS compliant* • Thin housing • Superior coplanarity compared to traditional LAN transformers • Fully automated high-volume production process • High consistency in the production process reduces electrical variations, enhancing stability and performance. • PCB pad layout is compatible with the footprint of traditional LAN transformers • Discrete components are also available to increase design flexibility.
