Power NTC thermistor optimal for inrush current limiters (ICL). Ideal for switching power supplies (SMPS), DC motors, amplifiers, transformers, and more.

Bourns' circuit protection division focuses on the development of high-quality and high-performance products such as overvoltage protectors (OVP), overcurrent protectors (OCP), and overtemperature protectors (OTP). The POWrTherm NTC thermistor is an overcurrent protector and is used as an inrush current limiter (ICL), making it ideal for switching power supplies (SMPS), DC motors, amplifiers, transformers, and more. Bourns POWrTherm products are manufactured from various metal oxides and can suppress high inrush currents with an equivalent capacitance of up to 1500μF@240VAC and a maximum rated current of up to 15A. ◇ Component Characteristics - Disk diameter: 5 to 25 mm (available in 7 types) - Wide range of resistance values: 0.7 Ω - 220 Ω - Lead type: kinked and straight - Coating material: flame-retardant coating material compliant with UL 94V-0 - Safety certification: cUL and TÜV - RoHS compliant* and halogen-free**.
