Recently, Seiwa Electric Co., Ltd. Lighting Division Optical Testing Laboratory has been registered as a registered testing organization by the Independent Administrative Institution National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE). The Registered Testing Organization System (JNLA) is a system that certifies whether a testing laboratory has the capability to demonstrate correct performance in accordance with the requirements for testing laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025) through document review and on-site inspection. Currently, there are only four registered testing laboratories for photometric measurement methods (JIS C 8105-5) among lighting fixture manufacturers, and Seiwa Electric Co., Ltd. becomes the fifth. Registered testing organizations under the JNLA system can issue test certificates and performance reports with a special emblem (symbol) in the testing registration category indicated on the registration certificate as proof of their registration.
