Hydroflow hot spring water treatment
Introduction of hot spring water treatment cases as a scale countermeasure for electromagnetic water treatment devices.
We will introduce a case of hot spring water treatment as a scale countermeasure for the "electromagnetic water treatment device." In the northern part of Taipei City, Taiwan, there is a hot spring area where residential buildings draw hot spring water from underground to enjoy the hot springs. The hot spring pipes often become clogged with hard scale, and the hot spring pump became inoperable just 1.5 months after the completion of a newly constructed residential building. Upon investigation, we noticed that there was a 2mm thick scale attached to the pump impeller and inside the piping. 【Countermeasures and Effects】 ■ Installed Aqua Clear model P120 (for 4”) ⇒ After installation, there were no more pump troubles. ■ Approximately 4 months later, an open inspection of the piping was conducted to confirm effectiveness. ⇒ Inside the piping, there was soft scale, about 0.2mm thick, that could be removed by hand.
