At the outdoor pool of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, we were using an ozone generator for sterilization, but due to high electricity costs, we discontinued its use and installed three Hydroflow P160 (for 6"). As a result, we were able to maintain water quality safety, and we report this. The installation was made in March 2000 on a 150A pipe just before entering the sand filters (three units).
