Cooling water volume increased by 16%! Red rust has been completely removed and changed to black rust.

In the cooling passages of plastic molds, tests were conducted with the aim of removing blockages caused by rust and scale using a polarizer, thereby restoring cooling effectiveness. Additionally, we confirmed whether red rust in the cooling passages could be removed and reduced to black rust (magnetite) to form a corrosion-resistant coating. As a result, when the rust that had leached into the water tank was collected and a magnet was applied, the rust was attracted to the magnet, indicating that it had transformed into magnetite.
