[Case Study of Hentsu Corporation Sensors] Measurement of Gas Blowers in Natural Gas Lines
Safe and easy measurement in various weather conditions! Portable flow measurement is possible with a handheld device compatible with ATEX zone 1.
We would like to introduce a case study involving the sensors from Hents, which we handle. When laying and maintaining natural gas pipelines, it is necessary to flush the pipes filled with natural gas multiple times with air. Since it involves natural gas, explosive gas mixtures can be generated by the gas discharge blower, and surrounding areas are often designated as hazardous zones, where only certified explosion-proof equipment can be used. The vane-type sensor supports a wide range of flow velocity measurements. Using an extension rod and wind direction markings, it can accurately measure even at distant gas discharge outlets. Additionally, fixed installation is possible using a probe guide piece. 【Recommended Products】 ■ Vane-type FA Sensor ZS25: Standard cable-equipped sensor in separate/integrated types ■ Mobile Measuring Device flowtherm EX: Portable converter suitable for use in hazardous areas *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
