The "Edge 48-703" is a cut-resistant glove made from high-strength polyethylene, stitched with leather pads on the palm and aramid fibers. In April 2024, the Occupational Safety and Health Act was amended to mandate the use of protective gear that prevents harmful substances from coming into contact with the skin. Chemical protective gloves must have permeability resistance appropriate to the substances being handled.
