Shintec Hozumi Co., Ltd. conducted a demonstration experiment of the "AISLE Tower Type UV Irradiation Package" in collaboration with the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel (Nakamura Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) for 16 days from July 21, 2021, to August 5, 2021. The table setting in the restaurant and café after closing was carried out in collaboration between humans and robots. The AISLE Tower Type performed disinfection using UV irradiation, verifying the operation of the robot and creating an environment that enhances the safety and security of customers using the restaurant and café. AISLE Tower Type: In addition to its main function of transporting items, it is a multi-use robot that achieves disinfection through UV irradiation and remote operation, all in one unit.
