The "RBS type" is a linear brake manufactured by Asahi Seiko Co., Ltd., featuring a structure where the friction plate and rail do not interfere with each other. It is a brake that directly holds the rail of the linear guide, maintained by the force of a spring and released by air pressure. It is a normal closed type (spring braking and reverse operation).
