We heard from a manufacturer of factory equipment that "due to the Energy Conservation Act, inquiries about energy-saving equipment are increasing, but we cannot meet customer needs unless we convert existing products into energy-saving versions." This became our mission to develop products that respond to energy conservation. First, we measured the power consumption of existing equipment to identify points where energy savings could be achieved. Then, we incorporated energy-saving devices that our company handles into the key areas, and upon conducting further measurement experiments, it became clear that significant reductions in power consumption could be achieved. While the initial cost of manufacturing equipment slightly increases when adopting our energy-saving devices, we converted the benefits of adoption from power values to monetary amounts, allowing us to keep the running costs of the equipment low.
