Servo valves and servo proportional valves are continuously operating electro-hydraulic valves that convert varying analog or digital input signals into stepless hydraulic control. The servo valve allows for very precise metering by having a bushing spool internal structure. On the other hand, the servo proportional valve has a spool structure without bushings. Due to this structural difference, the lifespan of a servo valve is 3 to 5 times longer than that of a servo proportional valve.
