■Silica fume is a byproduct of the production of metallic silicon and ferrosilicon. With an average particle size of 0.15μm to 0.20μm and a specific surface area of 15.0 to 20.0 m²/g, it possesses extremely strong interfacial activity. ■Due to its fine particles and large specific surface area, along with a high SiO2 content, it achieves a high pozzolanic reaction when used in concrete. ■It can improve the strength and durability of refractory materials and magnetic products. ■As a filler, it can enhance the overall performance of paints, coatings, resins, rubber, and other polymer materials.
