[Case Study] Manual Winch Power Operation Switch for Dam Lake
Introducing delivery examples of the Uni-Handler using a portable drive unit and attachments!
We would like to introduce a case study of the valve opening and closing device "Uni-Handler" that our company handles. In operations such as lowering and raising inspection boats for city-managed dam lakes, electric winches could not be used due to the lack of power in the area or the high costs associated with laying power lines. Therefore, in the modified mechanism, a special adapter was connected to the handle of the manual winch, and an attachment was installed to allow the winch to be operated with a portable engine-driven unit. As a result, by using the portable drive unit and attachment, we were able to reduce the labor required for the lifting operation. Additionally, since everything except the special adapter is portable, it can be stored in a warehouse. [Case Study] ■ Delivery Locations - Lowering and raising operations for inspection boats at city-managed dam lakes (Kansai region) - Lifting of floating debris collection nets installed in dam lakes (Hokkaido region) ■ Delivered Product: Uni-Handler ■ Issues Before Modification - Manual winches required significant physical strength for operation, making the work difficult ■ Advantages After Modification - The use of a portable drive unit and attachment allowed for a reduction in labor for the lifting operation *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
