[Delivery Case] Modification of the Screw Section of Existing Cutting Machine
Reduction of dust adhesion and efficient quantitative supply! Introducing case studies of Dow feeders.
We would like to introduce a case study of the supply equipment we handle, the "Dow Feeder." At a certain smelter, the existing screw feeder operated at a constant speed, which caused issues such as material sticking and growth. As a result of this sticking growth, the conveying efficiency decreased, and they wanted to suppress the growth and improve efficiency. To address this, the new mechanism introduced the "Dow Feeder (2-axis variable speed)," allowing for continuous operation and dust feeding. Additionally, by changing the screw section of the existing feeder from constant speed to variable speed, the feeding efficiency was improved. [Case Study] - Delivery Location: Smelter - Delivered Product: Dow Feeder - Issues Before Change: - The existing screw operated at a constant speed, and when fed into the dryer at a low moisture content, it would stick and clog the screw. - Advantages After Change: - It is now possible to convey dust with low moisture content. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
