LED Sound Device for the Elderly and Visually Impaired

A signal for reassurance to those who cannot feel at ease.

The "crosswalk" that we casually cross is a dangerous place for those with visual impairments. They listen for footsteps and the sound of car engines, desperately crossing even a few meters of crosswalk. To ensure that these individuals can cross safely, we want to promote the "LED-equipped sound guidance device," which is equipped with easily visible LED lights and provides audio guidance, to the world. May we create a society where everyone can walk freely outside.

basic information

This is a supplementary device for pedestrian traffic signals that allows elderly and visually impaired individuals to cross safely at crosswalks. 1. Easy-to-see LED The brightness is set to an optimal level that is easy for the visually impaired to see but not too bright for those with normal vision. Additionally, the red signal lights up in a rectangular shape, while the blue signal lights up in a circular shape, allowing for identification by shape. 2. Speaker close to the ear The speaker is positioned at a height of 1 meter. Being close to the ear makes it easier to hear. 3. Push-button switch Configured by the police as a push-button switch for vulnerable road users, pressing it will extend the green signal and activate the guiding sound for a certain period, even during times when the guiding sound is turned off in the early morning or at night. 4. To accommodate various installation environments and reduce costs, two types are available: "built-in type" and "embedded type."
