The portable ultrasonic leak detection camera, Search Sonic Imager, consists of an array of 112 microphones and a high-speed FPGA-based processor that exclusively displays leaks of compressed air, steam, gas, corona discharge, and noise. From the estimated leakage amount at the leak location, energy-saving effects from repairs can be anticipated.
