Heat recovery system through existing furnace modification [Case Study Introduction]
The existing furnace remains as it is, contributing to the reduction of fuel gas consumption and low carbonization!
By installing a heat exchanger in the existing paint drying oven and recovering the exhaust heat from the oven, the combustion air for the burner is preheated. The temperature difference from the preheating of the combustion air contributes to energy savings.
basic information
Modification Details 1) A heat exchanger will be incorporated into the exhaust duct. 2) The existing combustion air piping will be removed, and the combustion blower will be relocated. * Depending on the pressure loss of the heat exchanger, it may be necessary to replace the combustion blower. 3) New preheated air piping will be installed, and the piping will be insulated. 4) If there is no insulation on the existing exhaust duct, new insulation will be applied. * Considering the potential clogging from tar and other substances in the exhaust, either a tube-type heat exchanger or a plate-type heat exchanger will be selected. The plate-type heat exchanger has a higher heat recovery rate, but the frequency of cleaning will increase. We will provide a proposal after the meeting.
