*Free technical offer: [Cost reduction proposal] Press processing and tapping mass production processing

昭和精工
A must-read for those struggling with cost reduction through press processing and tapping mass production! We are currently offering simulation materials! When it comes to tapping, it is generally performed as a subsequent process after press processing, using dedicated tapping machines to process one or multiple pieces simultaneously. However, if the production volume is high, it becomes necessary to increase both the number of tapping machines and the number of operators in the subsequent process. This leads to additional costs for equipment and labor, which can significantly increase overall expenses. Additionally, the unit cost of the product will be the sum of the press processing cost and the tapping processing cost, resulting in substantial costs. While there is a perception that tapping integrated progressive dies are expensive, if there is a high production quantity expected to continue for several years, the product cost will essentially only be the cost of one punch of press processing, allowing for the die cost to be recouped in a relatively short period.
