Electroless nickel plating for aluminum die casting! Introducing examples of quality improvement.

We would like to introduce a case study where we solved a quality issue faced by our customer using our plating and surface treatment technology. Company I, an aluminum die-casting company, was struggling with poor corrosion resistance of the inner diameter of their aluminum die-cast products that had an electric nickel plating + chrome plating specification. They visited us after inquiring through our website. We proposed electroless nickel plating and created a prototype with an electroless nickel plating + chrome plating specification. As a result of the JIS neutral salt spray test, the inner diameter passed with no white rust formation after 72 hours, leading to an order for mass production.
