basic information

What is silver? 1. Silver is gentle on the human body and possesses strong antibacterial properties against bacteria, leading to the sale of many antibacterial products utilizing silver ions. 2. While it is very beautiful with its silver-white color for decorative purposes, its weakness is that it can discolor to brown or black due to sulfides in the atmosphere. 3. Silver is the metal with the best electrical and thermal conductivity among all metals. (See separate table) 4. It also has excellent solder wetting and bonding properties. 5. It excels in high-frequency characteristics (high-frequency currents such as millimeter waves and microwaves transmit easily). 6. The use of silver plating in lead frames for LED reflectors has rapidly increased due to its excellent light reflectivity. Our company provides high-precision silver plating for industrial purposes, primarily focusing on barrel plating. It is also used for contact parts with thick plating, terminal part plating, and mechanical parts such as bearings.

Applications/Examples of results

Silvec Case Studies and Applications 1. Silver plating on brass and silver soldered contact parts 2. Silver plating on connector terminals (hard silver plating is recommended for products with frequent insertion and removal) 3. Silver plating on a nickel-plated base of aluminum (for soldering purposes) 4. Silver plating on bearing parts with strict dimensional accuracy requirements 5. Barrel silver plating on thin and easily deformable electronic components 6. Silver plating on copper busbar contact areas
