Value enhancement through plating and surface treatment of aluminum die-cast products.
About the plating of Silvec's aluminum die-cast products.
Features of Aluminum Die Casting Molten aluminum die casting alloy is poured into a mold under high pressure and formed. Various aluminum die casting alloy materials are produced according to specifications and applications, and advancements in mold technology have made it possible to efficiently produce aluminum die casting products with high dimensional accuracy.
basic information
Surface Treatment for Aluminum Die Casting 【Plating】 As a base plating, nickel or copper is mainly used, allowing for any type of finish plating. 【Chemical Treatment】 Direct trivalent chromium chemical treatment (chromate) or non-chromium chemical treatment can be applied to aluminum die casting. Trivalent chromium chemical treatment is adopted as an alternative to alodine (which uses hexavalent chromium). 【Anodizing】 Anodizing aluminum die casting is widely adopted for purposes such as improving corrosion resistance, enhancing strength, providing a corrosion-resistant base for painting, and anti-reflective properties. 【Painting & Printing】 In the case of painting and printing, services can be provided as a one-stop solution, including anodizing treatment as a pre-treatment before painting. Our suppliers can handle painting with air spray painting and cationic electrodeposition coating, while printing can be done using pad printing and screen printing. 【Polishing & Matte Finish】 As a preliminary treatment, polishing (buffing, barrel, belt) can create glossy or smooth surfaces, and a matte appearance or subdued look can be achieved by uniformly roughening the surface with a matte finish (shot blasting).
