[AI Image Inspection Case] Measurement of Cavity (Tooth Decay) Model Size

We received an inquiry about wanting to determine the size of caries (cavities) using a model that mimics external caries on the appearance of teeth. The processing of caries involves marking the position and size on the tooth using a gauge, then using a motor (grinding machine) to freehand grind and shape it. The inspection defines the center value of the height and width of the caries, with items exceeding the maximum value or below the minimum value being deemed unacceptable. 【Inspection Settings and Results】 By using the "Presence of Specified Color Inspection" function of EasyInspector, we were able to determine the presence and size of a caries hole in 0.11 seconds. The settings included a color judgment tolerance range set to "90," with the specified color being "black" and all RGB values set to 0. The light blue pixels "136" at the bottom of the image on the right represent the number of fluorescent pixels (caries detection pixels) within the blue frame on the left. 【Software Used】 Software Used: EasyInspector710 (formerly EasyInspector) The current 'EasyInspector2' color package can perform inspections for the "Presence of Specified Color."
