The manufacturer of FA machine automatic systems was considering inspection software for film defects. Our company has over 2,000 implementations in inspection lines and is utilized in various fields such as electrical, electronic, mechanical, and assembly. By replacing visual inspections with image processing, automatic appearance inspection that prevents the outflow of defects can be realized. 【Inspection Settings and Results】 Using the "Comparison with Master Image" function of EasyInspector, we conducted inspections for tape defects in two locations and foreign substances on the tape. While detection was possible, the inspection cycle took more than "1 sec per piece." - There is a shift for each image, which takes time for shift correction. - The images you provided this time have a high resolution of 40 million pixels. → It may be necessary to reduce it to around 300,000 pixels. Due to the time required for shift correction as mentioned above, we recommend using image inspection software with AI (deep learning) for verification in cases where shifts occur in operation, as shown in the sample images.
