[AI Image Inspection Case] Inspection and Recording of Dimensions of Parts Processed by Machine Tools

Regarding the inspection of the dimensions of parts processed by the work machine, we received an inquiry from a representative of a manufacturer of pneumatic devices and control equipment who is considering changing the current visual inspection standards to data-based standards. They expressed a desire to keep a record of the product dimensions and provided sample images. 【Inspection Settings and Results】 We conducted a simple verification of inspections using both EasyInspector and DeepSky. Both were able to detect the dimensions. Our company can propose both the conventional rule-based inspection software "EasyInspector" (detection results shown in the left image) and the AI (deep learning) based "DeepSky" (detection results shown in the right image) as needed. For recording methods, there are options to save in SCV (Excel) format and to retain inspection images. 【Software Used】 Software used: EasyInspector, DeepSky
