[AI Image Inspection Case] Detection of the Orientation of Pins in Electronic Components
All 10 locations of the reverse-mounted pins of the electronic components have been detected!
A manufacturer that develops and sells electronic components and devices inquired at our booth during the exhibition. In light of the current social situation, we are also accommodating meetings via web conference. After understanding the overview of our systems and software, it is common for us to receive sample submissions. Following detailed discussions, we can provide specific proposals regarding operational methods, making the process smooth. [Inspection Settings and Results] As a result, we were able to detect all 10 locations of the NG (reverse attachment) parts. However, there was one location at the edge of the screen (where only half of the pin is visible) that was misjudged. (The NG parts created by processing the images total 10 locations, but the verification resulted in detecting 11 locations.) Currently, it is difficult to distinguish between OK and NG in the images, so adjustments are needed to enhance the differences, such as improving the lighting. For "DeepSky," the resolution of the images we received (16M) is too large, so additional software to split the images will be necessary. [Software Used] Software Used: DeepSky
