Wireless Andon System for Calling Lift Men at Truck Berths [Case Study of Kodama Service]
【Introduction Factory】 Kodama Service Co., Ltd. Saitama Sales Office 【Purpose】 To call workers and forklift operators when trucks arrive at the truck berth (loading area). 【Size】 Approximately 60m x 50m inside the warehouse. 【Situation】 Forklifts move around the warehouse to efficiently load necessary products onto trucks, involving tasks such as packaging, repacking, and moving products within the warehouse. 【Operation】 ★ Calling the forklift operator Truck drivers call the forklift operator when they are ready for loading. Once loading preparations are complete, they go to call the workers. A "transmitter" is installed at the entrance. ★ Notification with the sound of the patrol light buzzer (electronic sound alert) An a-contact output receiver and buzzer are installed inside the warehouse. When a number is received by the a-contact output receiver, the buzzer continues to sound. Pressing and holding the transmitter clears the number and stops the buzzer sound. ★ Notification of visitors when the office is unstaffed A transmitter is also installed at the office entrance. When there are no people in the office, visitors can press the transmitter to notify the warehouse.
