The "QPatch Compact" is a new system that combines the flexibility of manual patch clamping with the stability of automated patch clamping. All necessary parts are assembled and inspected so that it can be used immediately after being taken out of the box. Complicated setups such as vibration isolation tables, Faraday cages, microscopes, manipulators, electrode pullers, and perfusion systems are not required.
