[Case Study] Mist Air Conditioning
Introduction of a case where the temperature inside the factory was lowered, resulting in a monthly reduction of 400,000 yen in air conditioning electricity costs.
We would like to introduce a case study of implementing mist cooling in a manufacturer of wood grinding and polishing machines. As a measure against heatstroke for workers, air conditioning was always running at full capacity, which resulted in high electricity costs and became a problem. To save on electricity costs while simultaneously cutting peak demand, we considered mist cooling that requires minimal maintenance and introduced 18 swing mist fans. We successfully reduced the local temperature in the factory by 3 to 4°C and the overall temperature of the installation space by 1°C, resulting in a monthly savings of 400,000 yen on electricity costs. [Case Overview (Partial)] ■Challenges - Insufficient ventilation equipment caused heat emitted from machines to accumulate. - Constantly running the air conditioning at full capacity led to high electricity costs. ■Products Introduced - Swing mist fan "Mist Twister S" *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
