Ponsse becomes the first forestry machinery manufacturer to use SSAB's fossil-free steel plates.

Tokyo, August 16, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- SSAB and Ponsse Plc, one of the world's largest forestry machinery manufacturers, have formed a partnership, through which SSAB will begin supplying fossil-free steel to Ponsse starting in 2026. This partnership will further strengthen Ponsse's position as a sustainable forestry machinery provider and bring SSAB closer to its goal of establishing a fossil-free value chain.
