The "DT-LC-485L" is a converter for SD loggers that converts RS-232C to RS-485. The control for switching between sending and receiving is done via pin 7 of the D-Sub 9-pin connector, and it can be controlled by the line converter control function of the SD logger. Additionally, power can be supplied from pin 9 of the D-Sub 9-pin connector.
