Penguin Solutions, Inc. announces that it will change the name of its subsidiary, Stratus Technologies, to Penguin Solutions effective April 23. Accordingly, Stratus Technologies Japan, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshitake Matsumoto; hereinafter referred to as "Stratus Technologies Japan") will change its name to Penguin Solutions, Inc. on April 23, 2025 (Wednesday). Since its establishment in 1986, Stratus Technologies Japan has provided high availability, non-stop computing solutions to the Japanese market for nearly 40 years, contributing to the continuous operation of many businesses and social infrastructure as a leading company in non-stop computing. Additionally, Stratus, Inc. became a group company of SGH (which will change its name to Penguin Solutions in October 2024) in 2022. Moving forward, as Penguin Solutions, we will strive to play a significant role in business innovation by providing not only non-stop technology but also innovative AI infrastructure solutions.
