Industrial Edge Solution 'Stratus ztC Edge'
To reduce the risk of equipment stoppage. Two robust devices that can be used with simple settings achieve system redundancy and high availability.
The "Stratus ztC Edge" is an industrial edge solution consisting of two devices (nodes). With a built-in virtualization environment, it can be used with a simple setup. By constantly synchronizing data between the two devices, it ensures that even if a failure occurs in the first device, data is not lost, and the system can continue operating by switching to the second device. It can be utilized to reduce downtime and automate factories. 【Features】 ■ Zero-touch response to node failures ■ After switching nodes, the replacement work is completed simply by reconnecting the cables ■ Resistant to dust and vibration, and can be used in environments ranging from -40°C to +60°C ■ Supports long-term maintenance for 10 years, aiding stable operations *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

Tecmo LLC and Japan Stratasys Technology support medical DX through the uninterrupted operation of the medical device integration platform.
Through collaborative solutions, we achieve the essential 24/7 continuous operation and easy management in the medical field. Stratus Technologies announces that it will begin offering the medical device integration platform "TQMO-XA" in combination with the non-stop edge computing "Stratus ztC Edge," in collaboration with Tecmo LLC, which creates a medical ICT platform that connects and utilizes information across medical systems, starting August 22, 2024. This is the optimal data platform for medical settings that require 24/7 operation. "TQMO-XA" offers the following benefits: - By converting medical data into a compatible format, it connects various medical devices and enables vendor-free data integration. - By incorporating various data and performing centralized operations, it enhances the freedom of output data design, allowing for outputs tailored to devices and treatment teams. - Operating on "ztC Edge" enables the system to run stably 24/7 while reducing the workload of system administrators.

Daido Rubber, a manufacturer specializing in industrial rubber hoses with 75 years of history, adopts the edge computing platform "Stratus ztC Edge" to promote manufacturing DX.
"Achieving High Availability and Operability in Production Management Systems at Factory Sites Without System Administrators" In order to support production innovation and technology succession at Daido Rubber Co., Ltd., a manufacturer specializing in industrial rubber hoses, the zero-touch edge computing platform "Stratus ztC Edge" has been adopted as a stable data utilization foundation. It has been announced that nearly two years since the new system went live in March 2021, it continues to operate without any issues while supporting factory sites without system administrators. The introduction of this system has resolved the challenges previously faced by the company, including the "lack of a stable data foundation to stabilize supply and demand in small-lot production of various types" and the "operational rate issues of the production management system that supports manufacturing." Key points of adopting "ztC Edge" are as follows: ■ "High availability" that ensures business operations do not stop even in the event of a failure ■ "Zero-touch" operation that does not require system technicians, making fault replacement and operational management easy with plug-in capabilities ■ Achieving a high ROI (return on investment)

On-Demand Distribution: The Frontline of DX-Promoting Manufacturing and Logistics Reform! - What Do Case Studies Reveal? Key Points of Visualization, Automation, and Labor Reduction?
This seminar is an on-demand broadcast of the seminar held on June 9, 2022. In response to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the shortage of personnel on-site, the movement towards automation and labor-saving measures that do not rely on manual labor is accelerating in manufacturing and logistics environments. Digital transformation (DX) cannot wait! The key to success lies in visualizing production status using IIoT, utilizing AI for inspection and analysis, and automating logistics through automated warehouses and AGVs. Additionally, it is essential to ensure the stable operation of systems that serve as the foundation for data utilization. In this seminar, we will introduce points to consider for DX in manufacturing and logistics, steps for solving challenges, and solutions along with case studies of implementations. ★ Key points we want to convey in this seminar: ◎ Insights into solving challenges in manufacturing and logistics environments based on extensive system construction experience. ◎ The benefits of one-stop construction from equipment installation to infrastructure, wiring, IT/OT networks, and systems. ◎ What kind of edge environment is necessary for processing large amounts of data in real-time?

Japan Stratus Technologies launches the edge computing platform "Stratus ztC Edge 200i/250i" for industrial IoT - Achieving a 60% increase in processing speed and enabling rapid high availability configuration through a wizard that allows redundancy to be set up in just a few clicks.
The "Stratus ztC Edge 200i/250i" utilizes powerful Intel Xeon processors with up to 10 cores and up to 2TB of NVMe storage to process large amounts of edge data generated on-site in real-time, achieving a 60% increase in processing speed and supporting the virtualization of more complex and large-scale applications. Furthermore, these enhancements enable the processing of massive data generated by IIoT (Industrial IoT) through on-site IoT sensors and various devices. Additionally, by introducing a wizard that allows for redundancy configuration in just a few clicks on a highly available virtual infrastructure, it has become easier to build and operate compared to traditional methods, further strengthening "Zero-Touch Computing" and addressing the shortage of IT technicians on-site. The entry-level model "Stratus ztC Edge 200i," which pursues compactness and low cost, is priced at 1.45 million yen, while the model "Stratus ztC Edge 250i," which supports FT (Fault Tolerant) mode for edge environments that cannot tolerate even a moment of system downtime, is priced at 2.158 million yen. (Both prices are for a redundant configuration with a 2-node set, excluding tax.)
