The "Calmflex RZ-2" is a vibration-damping material with an adhesive backing. The back side has an adhesive (double-sided tape), so it can be easily applied by peeling off the release paper and sticking it directly onto vibrating structures, reducing noise generation. It can be wrapped around pipes to suppress vibrations, applied to the inside of ducts to reduce resonance sounds, and used for vibration damping in engine compartments, among various other applications.
