IBS coat optical element ::::: thin-film polarizer
Achieves a contrast ratio of 3000:1.
Manufacturer: Optoman (Lithuania) There are various polarizers available in the market, but the only one perfectly suited for high-power laser applications is the thin-film polarizer. It is coated with a dielectric multilayer and separates horizontal polarization (P-polarization) from vertical polarization (S-polarization). Thin-film polarizers perform this function at a high level, with almost no absorption within the coating, achieving over 99% transmittance (Tp) and 99.9% reflectance (Rs). OPTOMAN offers optimal solutions in terms of extinction ratio, angle of incidence, and damage threshold. IBS technology achieves an extinction ratio exceeding 3000:1 at a 45° incidence angle. Meanwhile, the damage threshold allows for a high value of >20J/cm² (1064nm, 10ns, 100Hz). With cutting-edge IBS coating technology, we achieve excellent features such as high damage thresholds, low absorption, low scattering, and long lifespan. OPTOMAN will propose custom products tailored to your needs.
