It is a measuring device that enables rapid measurement of hydrogen concentration in water with a concentration of micrograms, unaffected by the turbidity or color of the water.

The H2 probe was developed to measure changes in dissolved hydrogen concentration in natural and industrial water on-site. It is mounted on multi-parameter systems such as CTD probes and consists of the probe body, which includes a waterproof connector and an electronic signal conversion card, and a micro H2 sensor attached to the tip. Amperometric measurements allow for precise and rapid measurements, taking about 2 seconds for 90% accuracy even at concentrations of a few micrograms, and the turbidity or color of the water does not affect the measurements. This device comes with a formula to determine hydrogen concentration in mg/L, as well as data for electrode calibration slope and temperature correction. The micro sensor attached to the tip can be easily replaced. The shallow water H2 probe can also be equipped with a built-in micro O2 sensor for measuring dissolved oxygen instead of the micro H2 sensor.
