LDI Oil Film Detector: Case Study of Introduction in Seawater Desalination Plant
This is a case study of the introduction of an oil film detector in a seawater desalination plant.
In seawater desalination plants, RO membranes are used. In this case, if contaminated seawater is taken in, there is a risk that the pipes and pumps will become contaminated, leading to a decrease in the plant's performance. By installing an LDI oil film detector at the intake, it is possible to quickly detect water contaminated by oil and protect the facility.
