The outdoor and marine display NPD series has been featured in the embedded technology special of Ipros. The NAVPIXEL NPD from Santex Co., Ltd. is a new series of marine displays that are visible even in sunlight, compliant with IP65 and IP68 standards. This series utilizes a rugged touch monitor with a high-performance LCD panel that incorporates an LED backlight visible in sunlight, specially designed to withstand harsh working environments. The NAVPIXEL NPD series, housed in a slim aluminum alloy casing, is lightweight and features a waterproof design compliant with IP65. (NPD0835 is compliant up to IP68) Furthermore, the combination of touch panel technology and sunlight-readable LCD displays allows the monitors in this series to be used not only for marine leisure activities such as fishing and cruising but also for more specialized marine-related businesses.
