I tried incorporating long fiber carbon into ABS for 3D printing!
【Mita Repo】3D printing with ABS and carbon fiber! I tried creating it with the composite printer "Anisoprint Composer"!
"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. In Vol. 70, we used the carbon composite printer "Anisoprint Composer" to create a model by combining ABS and carbon long fibers. The "Anisoprint Composer" allows you to freely choose commercially available materials for printing and to incorporate carbon long fibers into the model. Following the successful print with only ABS in the previous Mitarepo #68, we took on a second challenge by incorporating carbon long fibers into the ABS for modeling! "How is the carbon incorporated?" "What does the finished product look like?" We will explain the modeling process and the finish of the completed model, along with print data settings and actual images. *You can download the materials from the button below.

I hope this can serve as a helpful reference for those considering improvements to the performance of modeling and for those who want to utilize 3D printers more broadly.
