I marked a small QR code and tried scanning it!
[Mitarepo] How far can we go with fine expression!? We tried marking a small QR code with a laser marker! | System Create
"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" From the wide range of product genres handled by System Create, we deliver useful information each time. In Vol. 90, we tested how small a QR code can be marked using the laser marker "LF50." The "LF series," which allows marking of text data, barcodes, and QR codes by directing a laser onto the workpiece, has made its debut! The LF series comes with all the necessary equipment packaged together and employs a Q-switched pulsed ytterbium fiber laser, enabling marking even on highly reflective materials like metals! This time, we tried marking a QR code on an aluminum plate to see if it could be recognized. We will verify the quality by gradually reducing the size of the QR code to address questions such as, "How clear will it be?" and "Can fine markings be made?" *You can download the materials from the button below.
