I tried doing test processing using ATC!

[Mitarepo] Automatic tool change with a small processing machine! We tested machining with a machine equipped with ATC! | System Create

"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products with the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product genres handled by System Create. In Vol. 111, we conducted a processing test using the YORNEW MX220. The compact 5-axis machining center "YORNEW MX220" fits in a mere 0.7m² of installation space. We have started handling a model with the automatic tool change (ATC) option. With ATC, more complex machining can be performed without increasing the workload. This time, we actually performed machining that involved tool changes in the machining path and conducted measurements to verify the machining accuracy. We will introduce points of interest such as, "How is the ATC attached?" and "Does the accuracy change?" with actual images and diagrams of the cutting process. *You can download the materials from the button below.
