I tried a color scan using the NIR structured light mode!

Can you capture beautiful gloss and color? Scanning with blue laser and NIR laser | System Create

Mitarepo is a series based on the concept of "Trying Out Things Like This!" where we introduce what can be done using various products. We are excited to announce the new 3D scanner "Creality RaptorPro," which offers a variety of features at a low price. Its lightweight and compact body includes a blue laser mode that supports scanning of metal and black objects, as well as a near-infrared (NIR) structured light mode that is effective for scanning details and textures. This time, we conducted tests by scanning inorganic materials and color scans of faces using the NIR structured light mode to see how much data could be captured. We will address some intriguing points such as, "Will there be any data loss?" and "How much can the color scan capture?" along with the actual scanned data. *You can download the materials from the button below.
