Mitarepo is a series based on the concept of "Trying out things like this!" that introduces what can be done using various products. The greatest strength of metal 3D printers is their ability to create "complex shapes" that were impossible with traditional machining. For example, designs that incorporate 3D water channels running internally to enhance the cooling efficiency of molds can be realized. However, because such complex shapes can be achieved, it also raises concerns such as: "Are the invisible internal cavities truly connected as designed?" "Is there any powder clogging or distortion of shape?" With that in mind, this time we created a model mimicking an injection molding mold and conducted thorough verification using CT scans to check the "invisible internal state." Are the water channels inside accurately reproduced? The results of this verification, along with a series of processes, are compiled in the materials.
