"Mitarepo" is a series that introduces what can be done using various products, based on the concept of "I tried doing this!" We deliver useful information each time from the wide range of product categories handled by System Create. Prototyping for "shape confirmation" is easily done with 3D printers and desktop injection molding machines. However, when it comes to prototyping with just plastic, there are inevitably limitations in expressing color and texture. If we can reproduce design elements and textures that are close to the final product from the prototyping stage, it will not only enhance the completeness of the design but also improve the persuasiveness of internal evaluations and customer presentations. This time, we used the desktop injection molding machine "Moiron M2-I" and challenged ourselves to enhance the design of prototypes through film insert molding!
