The "Perchloric Acid Treatment Type DFZ" is a draft chamber specifically designed for heating decomposition experiments using perchloric acid and sulfuric acid. Since perchloric acid poses a fire and explosion risk when coexisting with organic materials, an exhaust chamber is provided at the top, and a shower device is installed to allow for regular internal cleaning. It is also suitable for heating oxidation decomposition. Typically, the sash is opened for acid treatment, ensuring a face velocity of 0.5 m/s at the sash opening position of 550 mm, and the sash is fixed to prevent it from closing beyond this position, although it can be released.
